Janet Cardiff creates audio guided walks out in the world, sometimes with other added elements. Her Long Black Hair was a piece created for Central Park.
This ad is successful manipulation to get the exact kind of participation that they want & nothing more.
Assignment:
Write a short proposal for your final. Post it by Wednesday midnight. Please include:
- what your final project will be
- weekly breakdown of tasks to accomplish
- how the audience interaction will reflect the themes you are exploring
Please keep in mind that you will be showing a work-in-progress to outside critique on April 16.
