Assignment
1. Write a short proposal for your final. Post it by Wednesday midnight. Please include:
- Theme of your final project - what are you exploring with this piece?
- Short paragraph on what I will experience when I participate in your project (audience is invited to enter the space & sit on the floor, each person is given a piece of paper by a silent moderator…..etc.)
- How the audience interaction reflects the ideas of the work
- Weekly breakdown of tasks to accomplish
2. What is the thing you are most afraid of with this piece - too revealing? not revealing enough? insipid? incomprehensible? Dive right in & make a one minute version of your piece that is exactly that - without irony. Present it in class or post it by Wednesday midnight.
Please keep in mind that you will be showing a work-in-progress to outside critique on April 16.
